Responsible Gambling
betIQ is a decision-support tool, not a sportsbook. It never guarantees profit, never suggests fixed or "sure win" outcomes, and every stake suggestion is meant to be conservative — never a reason to bet more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
A few basics
- Only bet money you can afford to lose, and set that amount before you start.
- Take regular breaks. Betting decisions made while tired, upset, or trying to "win back" a loss tend to be worse decisions.
- Treat gambling as entertainment, not as a source of income.
- If you notice you're spending more time or money than you intended, that's a signal to pause, not to chase it.
If gambling is affecting your life
If you're worried about your own gambling, or someone else's, please reach out to a real support service. One widely known option in the United States is the National Council on Problem Gambling — call or text 1-800-522-4700, or visit ncpgambling.org. If you're outside the United States, search for a problem-gambling support service local to your country or region — many countries have a dedicated, free helpline.
This page is an early, general-purpose safety notice. Configurable deposit/time/loss/session limits, cool-off periods, self-exclusion, and reality checks are under active development (see the project roadmap's Responsible Gaming module) and are not available yet in this build.
